Our story

My name is Bill Kleidon, and I am the owner-operator of BK’s Investigations. I have worked as a professional Private Investigator for over 26 years, serving both private clients and corporate organizations across Northern California.

My investigative experience includes Workers’ Compensation fraud, SIU (Special Investigative Unit) cases, AOE (Arising Out of Employment) investigations, process service, and field surveillance with lawful video documentation.

I began my career serving subpoenas for the San Jose Police Department, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office. I later spent 15 years with Atlas Investigations, where I oversaw surveillance operations and managed video evidence delivery for insurance and legal clients.

During that time, I handled a wide range of investigative responsibilities, including:

• Field surveillance operations

• Evidence review and documentation

• Skip tracing and locating evasive or missing individuals

• Timely delivery of video and written investigative reports

I later worked with Argus West Investigations, focusing primarily on Workers’ Compensation fraud investigations and advanced surveillance techniques.

After years of hands-on investigative work, I decided to open my own firm. To do so, I successfully completed:

• DOJ and FBI background checks

• Over 6,000 hours (3 years) of verified investigative experience

• The California BSIS Private Investigator Exam

• The Qualified Manager (QM) Exam, allowing me to operate and manage my own licensed investigation firm
